BIOLOGICAL INSECTICIDES

DiPel DF

DiPel DF contains a naturally occurring bacterial pathogen of caterpillars, Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) var Kurstaki.

Caterpillars ingest the bacteria on treated foliage, stop feeding within 1 hour and die 24-72 hours later. The efficacy of DiPel DF against young caterpillars is similar to that of conventional insecticides.

Mycotal

Mycotal contains an entomopathogenic fungus Verticilium lecanii for control of whitefly larvae and some thrips larvae.

Mycotal requires a temperature of 18 – 28°C and an average relative humidity of 70% for several days after application.

Vertalec

Vertalec contains an entomopathogenic fungus Verticilium lecanii for control of many aphid species.

Vertalec requires a temperature of 18 – 28°C and a minimum relative humidity of 80% for 10 – 12 hours a day for several days after application.
